Jar Jar's Mocha summary
"Ooh moi moi mesa love you!"
Translation
This is a super indulgent drink not for the faint hearted - there is lashings of whipped cream piled on-top of a super spiced chocolatey Mocha. This is definitely one of those drinks that blurs the line between hot drink and dessert. Top tip: drink the cream with relative haste so that it doesn't cool down and dilute the drink too much. The actual flavour was reminiscent of a bold Chai - It has a blend of warming spices: turmeric, ginger, allspice and cinnamon that give it a distinctive taste I can't say I've encountered before in a Mocha. Honestly I solidly enjoyed this but could not imagine getting on more than once a week due to the heaviness.
The actual cafe is inside a pretty incredible ruined house, which is juxtaposed against the shiny new iPad menus you get given on arrival... It's tucked away on a little side road away from the hustle and bustle of central Bucharest so is fairly quiet and peaceful, and the food was pretty great too.
